WHERE will ASOT take place?
- ASOT masterclasses, workshops and the Gala Concert will be in Lisbon.
WHEN is ASOT?
- ASOT takes place each year in the month of July. In 2025 ASOT will be from July 17-26, 2025
WHO will be teaching at ASOT?
- Our faculty are internationally known artists with successful careers in the field of classical music performance.
WHO can apply to ASOT?
- Portuguese classical singers and voice students between the ages of 22-32.
WHAT is necessary for application to ASOT?
1. Proof of Portuguese citizenship.
2. A spoken video or audio recording (without music) describing the applicant’s personal interests and biography.
3. A recording of three musical vocal selections:
a. an operatic aria
b. an art song
c. a concert aria
The vocal selections must be sung in three different original languages. The maximum length of this submission should be fifteen minutes.
All application materials must be submitted to ???? by March 15, 2025.
WHAT does it cost to attend ASOT?
- Applicants chosen for ASOT pay nothing to participate and receive a per diem to cover their expenses for the duration of the program.
WILL multiple singers be awarded a stipendium?
- Each year we will award four scholorships.
